Omotola Jalade Ekeinde was born on the seventh day in February 1978. She was born in Lagos state, Nigeria, but originally hails from Ondo state.

She was born in 1978 to the family of Mr Oluwashola Jalade and Mrs Oluwatoyin Jalade. While growing up, her family was of the middle class. She has two younger siblings who are both boys and she is the first born of the family. The names of her younger brothers are Tayo and Bolaji Jalade.
Her family while growing up was a family of five including her two parents. Omotola’s father worked with the Lagos country club and the YMCA. While her mother worked at J.T Chanrai Nigeria Ltd. Her parents were well-to-do.
For her primary and secondary school education, she switched schools quite a bit, she attended Chrisland schools at Opebi, Santos Layout School, Oxford children school, and Command secondary school, Kaduna. For her tertiary education, she attended Yaba College Of Technology from 1996 to 2004, where she studied Estate management.
