I am so excited to have been able to finally launch my podcast. This has been a long time coming. I have procrastinated and procrastination is tired already.

Three of the reasons I have started “adulting on the go” are:

  • to share some of the experiences that are noteworthy enough to build lessons from;
  • to find a creative outlet to express myself;
  • and to build a more personal relationship with my blog readers.

You can click on play to listen to my first episode, Cutting Corners and Burning Bridges. I would be really glad to have feedback and know what you think of the first episode. Thank you!

  1. Seriously, some people think they are smart. Later, they’ll say it’s their village people that made them not to progress. A wise man knows how to build relationships. I really learnt from this.

    I look forward to more of this…. Congrat on your Launch.

    Congratulation on your new birth Esther. This is amazing.

    Concerninv the story you shared, I have a boss then who have contacts of people who matter. He is a Councillor in a partuicular Local Government in Lagos.
    There was a time he was so broke and I was like, boss, with all the people on your contact list, you shouldn’t be broke. You can’t ask for help and you won’t receive.
    His response that day was, “Yes, you have spoken the truth but I can’t sabotage the relationship I’m building because of money.”
    He said that is how a myopic mind thinks.
    He said there are bigger things they can help him achieve and access beyond the little cash he needs right now.

    1. Esther Adeniyi says:

      My gosh! This is it. Did you see that? “Yes, you have spoken the truth but I can’t sabotage the relationship I’m building because of money”

      In fact, Ife Grace and I were discussing the episode and we concluded that this kind of guy is the one that should even consider sewing for free just for access. This is not because I wasn’t going to pay him but because it is an opportunity to establish a relationship and cause a conversation. I mean, he didn’t spend 15 mins on these pieces. The immediate gratification of money clouded his entire reasoning. What a shame!
