How to overcome overwhelming life issues
Few weeks ago, a conductor ‘carted’ away my 400 Naira. In my effort to get to where I was going on time, I forgot my balance. I only got to know when I was about to board another bus to where I was going. I immediately ran back to the bus stop but he was no where to be found. I was dumbfounded!
I had only 500 Naira left with me. I was so pained by the loss. I began to think of how I had budgeted the money. Poverty is not good! 400 Naira was huge money to me. I was already feeling moody.
So I had to talk to myself “Why will you feel like this because of 400 Naira?” At the end of it all I waved it off and I am still living.
The word of Helen Keller comes to mind “Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood.” You have to understand that certain things are meant to be but it now depends on how you handle them.
Have you ever been in a situation where you think the whole world is about to crumble on you? You will even think you will die but guess what? You won’t die. See, there are times our circumstances will always want to speak to us. But we must be courageous to stand and speak to ourselves “I won’t let this affect me. Never!” And I’m sure you will come out of it victorious.
Let me leave you with the word of Marianne Williamson “Everything we do is infused with the energy with which we do it. If we’re frantic, life will be frantic. If we’re peaceful, life will be peaceful. And so our goal in any situation becomes inner peace.”
